Option to suppress / delay entity destroyed alarm sound

TL;DR
Add option to mute / dismiss entity destroyed warnings for a period.
What ?
Add an option to delay the sound of the alarm to something more reasonable, rather than on every single entity destruction. It's getting immensely annoying and is making me not to want to play the game any more.
Why ?
When I'm under heavy attack I'm hearing CONSTANT beeping (at least once a second for minutes at a time) causing me a huge amount of stress for something I'm already FULLY aware of.

Overall it will make the game more present to play, and less stressful.
