0.17 is becoming too cartoonish looking?

Hello. My concern about the 0.17 is all the new fancy looking colors and HD remakes of different models.
I feel that all these new additions make the game look "happier and more cartoonish" which for me is a bad thing.

The steampunk/apocalyptic feel of factorio is what made me like the graphic style of the game.
It still has this feel with 0.17..but these bright and shiny flashy colors makes it less so. Take alook in the new tech tree vs the old to see what i mean.

What is your thoughts on this?

The nature could be more beautiful and the factory could be more ugly. If inserters and log net chests have to be that colorful, they at least should be oily and dirty.
