Master Settings / Startup ressources slider / shuffle resources

Hello,

There are three columns of Map generator: Frequency, Size and Richness. And all points within the same column has the same options (5-6-5).

How about add Master (total) options for Frequency, Size and Richness, and one for all of them.
Game client does not save last settings, used in Map generator after restarting client. only for current session.

Let the game saves the last used setting and/or add 3-4 Master options for convenience. It's not cool to click all options up/down setting step by step, if I want to keep the balance and change difficulty.

It is not in the main priority problem, and does not require instant adding to the game.
Just think about it, and maybe someday Map generator will be much more convenient.

Hello,

regarding frequency/size/richness, I use to change them all to low/small/poor which quite is quite some clicking. Especially if playing with mods like Dytech.
it'd be nice to have a field to change the entire setting of a column.

tl;dr make it easy for players to set about how many resources they want without manually clicking each of those 20-something drop-downs

this UI improvement has two elements: a slider that goes from "resource poor" to "resource rich" and a "shuffle" button.

the slider uniformly modifies every resource amount as you move it up and down. move the slider to 0 to set every resource aspect to very low amount and very low size. move the slider to 1 to set every resource aspect to maximum.

the shuffle button randomly changes each of those 20-something individual resource aspect according to some gaussian distribution, centered at the slider's position. this gives each map its own flavor without the user having to manually introduce it.

Map generator change all settings at once

In the base game it's slightly annoying to change the Frequency / Size / Richness for 5 different rows. With something like Bob's Ores it's terrible.

How about one row across the top that says "change all" and has the three dropdown selectors, so I can set the F/S/R of every resource at once, then afterwards tweak the ones I want to have different?

I would also prefer to have a [Randomize] button, to scramble all of the settings (except for "None") to give me a completely random list of resource settings.

(I currently do it by rolling a die for each pulldown... which takes about a half hour cuz I have so many in the list, I have to scroll the list down to finish. :) )

Perhaps include a checkbox next to the button marked " Allow 'None' " as well... missing ores then could be purchased off the black market (mod).

The checkbox is optional to me, but please... a Randomize button would be very helpful.

TL;DR
Ability to change all values of Frequency/Size/Richness, from top to bottom, with 3 global sliders.
What ?
Add a "global" slider on top of iron ore (or at the very bottom) in which we can set the value to whatever we want. When it was a drop down, I used to click -> Home or click -> End and it was rather okay to set everything to minimum or to maximum, but now when playing B&A it's quite a pain to set all ores to my desired values
Why ?
Many people play with B&A, and I believe many people set those values to a minimum or maximum. It will make starting a new map faster.

+1. Especially for Bobs Ores. It's possible to manually edit the presets via text editor and save them as custom but this would be much easier.

Why ?
It makes Map generating with custom Values a bit more easier as you dont have to manually click each setting if you want to have the ressouces the same frequency etc.
Also if you missclick and reload the choosen preset values it will be easier to reset the specific values.

when I have many mods installed, each of them adds its own resource, and the settings for all this are very inconvenient. Can you add one setting that works for everyone?

global sliders for resources menu in map creation

TL;DR
Global sliders for resources to be generated on the map.

What ?
Global sliders to help change frequency / size / richness for all resources for map generation in the Resources tab.
It will help to create map settings where every resources are same in slider settings for frequency / size / richness rather than manually moving every sliders for every resources.

Universal Ore Settings

TL;DR
Have a master slider for game settings in certain areas.

What ?
For example, in the settings which change the frequency of resources, size of resource nodes, and richness of resource nodes, have a slider which will increase/decrease all ores (i.e., one slider will increase the frequency of all ores, another will increase the size of all ore nodes, and another will increase the richness of all ore patches).
Why ?
For convenience. I don't necessarily speak for all players, but when I want to adjust any of these sliders, I generally adjust all ores to the same amount. A universal slider would be convenient.
