A idea, factorio currency.

You can turn this idea on and off.

Man crashes with the spaceship on a planet. Almost everything is lost, with the exception of the beamers. A beamer that can beam everything except humans.

A Central Trading Place on Earth where all the merchandise of the Universe received is stored and shipped. Supply and demand set the price.

Where does the money come from?
The resources on earth are exhausted, so there is an infinite demand for ores. These ores have a fixed price that does not change. To earn the first money, you simply send iron ore or coal to Earth. If you have saved a little money, you can beam goods from the central warehouse on the earth to you. And so the cycle arises and grows.
Where is the money going?
A variant would be that you have to pay to use a Blue Print. Or that you can buy Blue Print from other players. Someone else just wants to be the richest man and regularly looks at the top 100. Others are buying urgently needed goods from the warehouse on the ground, thus avoiding a bottleneck in their production. Science bottles are also available if they are in stock. So you can explore higher technology. But the price for it is salted, and the one who makes the bottles makes a good deal.

The beamer and his experience
The beamer is in the tailcoat of the spaceship with which one crashed. At the beginning the beamer can only send and / or receive few goods. But he gains experience and can process ever larger quantities. Each time you join another multiplayer session, the experience is reset to 0. there is no upper limit of experience. If you stay loyal to a portfolio, the experience is not reset, and you are always doing better business with the earth. But just then you stay online you can make trades with the Earth. The same goes for singleplayer game.

To protect against abuse
You can only send what you have made in your own factories. The factories can not be demolished and rebuilt by another player (the exception is the server host). The player needs a trade permit from the server host so that he can sell his goods to Earth. to buy from the earth, it does not need a permit.

I don't get the idea behind this suggestion:

You want the ability to beam stuff you already produce by yourself?

So, let me try to make sense of this.

#1: you want a trading thing for multiplayer servers.
Response: this sounds like something you should be using mods for.
Something like this has no place in the vanilla version of the game.

#2: you want to be able to trade to a "global market" in single player.
Response: why? this seems pretty useless. And impractical.

Summary: So... you want something that trivializes gameplay and reduces everything to money, thus eliminating the whole point of factorio (which is to build automated factories).
Why don't you just build a bigger factory?
