pick up items on death

It would be nice if you could pick up items after you dye.
if it is possible to put the items you drop in a timed chest that will disappear in 15 or 5 min or something like that.
because it dose not make seance for the items to just be gone after you dye to me, but if there is a reason for that i would understand.
