Randomized map events

To encourage exploration of more of the map and expansion of a players rail system, the creation of randomized map events could be used. Differing events would require progressively harder to acquire technology to reclaim or utilize as well as being defended by reward equivalent enemies/defenses. Some of these events would include structures that could be reclaimed by a player carried weapon and later by robots designed for this purpose as well as hidden caches of resources that would only be exposed by reclaiming the structures around it.

Possible Events/Locations

-Crashed star ships (ranging in size from tiny to enormous that could be reclaimed)
-Ruins of abandoned cities (Large reclaimable structures/Caches guarded by aliens/marauders)
-Special mine sites (Extremely large and plentiful resource location requiring special mining rigs/robots)
-Marauder camps (Highly guarded structures defended by NPCs containing random loot)
-Geothermal events (Lava pools or steam vents that could be utilized for power sources)
-Impact craters from meteorites (Reclaimable)

Additional Events/Locations

-Robotic Camps (normally small lootable basses controlled by a neutral parties that are fully automated and running, may even show off some base design ideas)
-Corrupt Robotic Camps (similar to the above but larger and hostile to all biological entities aliens or players which ever is closer by producing ranged vehicles)
-Underground Entrances (allows access to an under ground area with aliens, or maybe something else, would also prevent players from placing structures inside)
-Friendly Camps (possibly another alien faction which will trade with the player and defend the player from entities hostile to it, but will defend itself if provoked by the player)
-Steps or plateaus (elevated land forming a natural wall with ramps)
