Pipes and other suggestions

I absolutely love this game, but as usual at this forum, i have a few suggestions

Pipes
Is there a possibility to implement building mechanics for pipes same as for transport belts? Meaning that i can go with pipes layed next to each other without autoconnect?

Also sort of tier II "walk over"able pipes. Not undergroud, but pipes i CAN walk over also like transport belts.

Directional / oneway pipes
Could be a fine addition to the game... Already mentioned - just reminding, could be interesting.

On/Off switch on electric stuff
Thats self explanatory and also already mentioned...

Biters
i would love to see little more variation of biters. Im sure it was mentioned, but i didnt see that.
- "shooting" biters
- leaping biters (jump over walls)
- more "biter buildings"
- more uses for alien artifacts

I dont want to create a new zerg race to fight off, but still...

Water transport
Even simple rowboat should be sufficient - several times i spawned on small islands in otherwise perfect terrain.

Other power sources
Also mentioned a million times before... But still there is huge technological gap between solar panels, steam engines and portable fusion reactor and laser cannon tower. That could be little balanced too.

EDIT: But when I think clearly in gameplay, it can be seen, that currently no change is really needed!

You can use the pump for that function.
