My friend and I were working on our second base when we needed more materials. It was too dense of a forest to build a train and too far to connect our logistics bots so we thought what if we had some sort of "Robot pipeline" where our logistics bots could hop into a special pipe system and shoot quickly underground to our base to deliver our goods. This pipes system would be extremely useful for having long range robot reach. The robots would not be able to do anything while in the pipeline but could quickly move from base to base when needed.
TL;DR: Add long distance robot transport system for greater logistics capabilities.
