Drag-placing a damaged object (ie turret, wall, etc) prefers placing damaged objects of that type out of your inventory before non-damaged ones.
Drag-placing a non-damaged object prefers placing non damaged objects.
Edit: Clarified a bit in title and body.

Re: Place all damaged objects first when dragging
Please no, when I'm dropping walls while building a defense perimeter while under attack the last thing I want is the about dead wall in my inventory to be placed down.
Maybe with a hotkey.

Re: Place all damaged objects first when dragging
I understand that, that is why I suggested when holding a damaged piece to drag all the other damaged ones get used, if you had a non-damaged piece it would work as it does now
suggestion: Drag-placing a damaged object should place damaged objects first
Sounds useful, just the title wording is not good.
Title suggestion:
suggestion: Drag-placing a damaged object should place damaged objects first
i.e. drag-placing undamaged preffers placing other undamage along the line
while drag-placing damaged preffers placing other damaged along the line.
Sure, why not?

Thanks for the suggestion, I used that for the title and amended the wording of the post to be a bit clearer.
Re: Drag-placing a damaged object should place damaged objects f
This is something I have wished for so many times. It's currently extremely cumbersome to get damaged items out of your inventory and into the world where they can be repaired. The only other idea I had for this was to be able to use repair packs on inventory items, but that would probably require more significant alterations to the game. Checking if the last item placed was damaged and, if so, pulling out more damaged items would be a lot better.
In fact, if you're placing damaged items, I think it should not pull out undamaged items at all. Walls are slow to pick up, and super-fast to place. Running along placing damaged walls and then realizing that you've placed a dozen undamaged walls too would waste a lot of time.
