TL;DR
Show the influence of the selected (or in hand ghost) of anything with a "Lightning reach" range. What?
When on Fulgora, and either hovering over or with item in the cursor, show the influence of the "range" of the "Lightning reach" for Fulgoran lightning attractors, Lightning rods, or Lightning collectors as a "slightly" different color than the rest of the 'network.'Why?
When placing new ones or removing old ones it is nice to know exactly how what you are doing will influence the bubble ("network") produced by the range of the one being placed or removed. Currently the only way to know how this will affect the rest of the bubble is by trial and error for "big" networks/bubbles.E.G. Take a "perfect" grid of Substation:Lightning rod pairs, and try removing the rods without breaking the bubble -- and without trial and error. I've spent a good ten -to- twenty minutes trying WITH trial and error (probably no more than an hour, but the bubble/network is expanding, so who knows).
The reason I call this "cosmetic" is because it "should be" just a color shift for the specific one highlighted, leaving the rest as was before. I'd call that cosmetic (as opposed to procedural or programmatic <- I literally cannot believe that is a word; I thought I was making it up); basically a simple "if" statement with an "else" leading to a color shift of the same code - I think.
