So, usually i do not like to mix multiple suggestions within one thread. however, i will do so now as everything follows the same reasoning: qol whishes for SE, and to resolve some inconsistencies. if you want to reply to any suggestion, please make sure to mention which part you mean specifically.
Machine Control:
- machine settings: when in map mode, i can change the settings of any machine anywhere. however, when NOT in map mode, i have to be physically close to the machine. this makes no sense to me. please allow me to change these settings from anywhere, regardless of me being in map mode or not.
Ghost bulding:
when not in map mode, please give me a hotkey to select a ghost from the crafting menue instead of adding something to the manual crafting queue
Only full rockets can be automatically send to plattforms:
i really hate this. when using manual requests, i can override minimum load for rockets. there is no such setting for auto requests generated for construction. this is really weird at times. i need 2 pipes? i get 200. i only have 100? i get none. i really would like to see an option here to improve this. espeically i would love to see mixed loads in rockets.
the thing is: i can really no see the reasoning behind it. i already can manually load a rocket with different items. so this is a case, where i can do an optimization ONLY manually, and i feel this to be inconsistent with the rest of the game, where most everywhere else have so sophisticated options to automatize.
allow me to prioritzie shipments to plattforms:
say i want to build a new plattform on fulgora. i absolutely have to make sure it gets supplied with ammo untill it can produce it for itself. however, if i just give the build order and add a request for ammo, i can not prioritize the ammo. its likely the ammo will not get delivered for a long time while the pads send up building materials.
it would be great if that prioritize option had a different setting for item count then the general request order, so i could order 800 ammo, when below 400 ammo prioritze the delivery.
allow my plattforms to see the circuit network of other planets and planets to request a plattform to pick up cargo:
i would love to setup a ship go to a planet when item X is aviable in a requested quantity and load it, like i can do with trains. i can not seem do that with plattforms because the plattfroms can not see the circuit network of other planets and planets can not request a plattform.
i can not see a good reason for this. I can see planet networks and plattforms from anywhere. why cant my plattforms and landing pads?
maybe i am missing something, but if this is possible, it requires some circuit magic above my capabilities.
deconstruction of entities:
the deconstruction planer has that handy option "trees/rocks only". this is great on nauvis, but useless anywhere else. i would request to change this option to "envoirement only" (maybe exclude cliffs and lightning attractors)
so, a few whishes. as this is my first post on these forums after playing factorio for a decade now, and playing the expansion pretty much non stop since release, i want to add that i love this game and that this expansion, is just unbelieveably good.
