TL;DR
A viewing mode that "flattens" factory blocking obstacles and/or highlights key features (non-build areas, resources, special terrain).

What?
When looking at the world in remote view, having the ability to toggle on a higher contrast view option.
I'm drawing a blank at the moment for more examples however, one that comes to mind is "They are Billions".

Pressing a hotkey allows you to minimize certain obstructions for a clearer understanding of where you can build things and what is usable.
Why?
Reasons like the new planet Gleba, where its hard to tell whats marsh or land.
I ran into the same issue initially on Fulgora due to the land mass (ocean) looking like usable terrain, or what terrain was considered cliffs / impassable.
As this is a factory building game, these features could provide some insight on better building options when considering the landscape.

For example something between these two resolutions.
Initial
The picture on the left has the quality however, its hard to see what exactly will cause issues during building.
On the right, The picture is to grainy for fine inputs however, key details like resource nodes or usable / unusable terrain are highlighted.
