Circuit Network Bounding Box

TL;DR

Add red/green bounding boxes to entities that are connected via red/green wires to the entity that the player is hovering over

What ?

Currently, when selecting an entity with wires it shows something like this


I propose that the bounding boxes on the entities connected to the entity that the player is hovering over should instead be colored with respect to the color wire connected to it (I'm not sure what the color should be for both, perhaps the corners could alternate colors)

Why ?

I suggest this idea because it can be very difficult to determine where certain wires are going and what they are connected to when designing or viewing a large circuit network or processor.
I also feel it is a natural extension to the current way bounding boxes are shown when hovering over a power pole (see the non-colored boxes in my images)

Those are not links to images either. The direct links to the images end with .jpg


Also, upload images to this forum instead, so the images don't disappear when imgur dies or takes a nap. Way more reliable.

Very good idea.

Best example immage is a vertical wire. Impossible to see which of the entities in the line its connected to.
