Keep the name and description when updating a broken blueprint

Post by saaadel »

TL;DR
During the Blueprint overwrite operation (the blue "Select new content for the blueprint" button) — please, do not delete the name and description of the blueprint (unless they have problems with missing icons).
What ?
Now, if you have blueprints with entities from skipped mods, the blueprint fields are shown in a disabled state for the name and description.
If the player tries to overwrite the blueprint design, the game will clear both fields. Annoyingly, if you don't use any icons (or missing entity's icons) in these two fields, the game forces the player to re-enter all two values.

I think it could check both fields for missing icons in the markup and remove them — missing entity's icons only, or clear only the field that has some problems and keep the other field, or keep both if there are no problems.
Why ?
This Blueprint update button becomes useless if the player wants to save the values of both fields - we need to copy the Blueprint, update it, and then look at the old values and enter them again manually (since even the copy-paste operation is not available for disabled input fields). Annoying.

P.S. At the very least, provide the ability to select and copy both values in disabled fields.
