Alien Goo

Hello frens,

I tried my best to find the old discussions, but I failed.
The topic I come with today is alien goo.

I find the map generated quite nice and beautiful, and interesting to look at.
The problem is - you don't get to see it really after a certain point ingame. It looks very nice on the minimap, but outside the minimap all I see is the alien goo.
Is it planned for 1.2 to introduce some form of cleanup for the goo? I'd really like to enjoy the landscape below it.

As you imagine from your and my forum registration dates, we propably are both aware that mods exist for this game

I am merely pitching the idea since 1.2 is in the works, and I would enjoy this bein a vanilla feature.
