It would have remained to somehow mark the station where the train is standing right now and my happiness would have no limit.
Because in 99% of cases when I put the train right at a new station, I will use it in the route. So that you don't have to look for it in the list either.

It would be highlighting the station where the train is stopped when clicking to add a new station on the train schedule if i understand correctly. (i didn't noticed that part of the previous suggestion sorry )

If you placed a train at a station then click the train and then shift-click on the station in the map. No need to search the station name in the list.
