Even if they cost 250 processing units, the 60kW solar panels will become completely useless.
Also, it would allow instant defensive outposts. Save a blueprint with two fusion reactors, a laser turret and an accumulator surrounded by walls, and you've got instant deployable defenses.
P.S. Modding in a entity version of a fusion reactor is easy. There's already the "energy interface" entity in game, and you can turn its "open-gui" property off, so in game users can't change the power output.
