Haven't tried it but from the post that looks like that what I'm talking about. ThanksRanakastrasz wrote:Still not a good answer....Slayn25 wrote:That's going on my Factorio to do list hahaRanakastrasz wrote:viewtopic.php?f=97&t=48801
How similar is this? I cant figure out what is being talked about here since the argument seems to be based on two people not talking about the same suggestion.

Re: Copy-paste modules (in addition to settings)
[ick] Merged two threads about copy-paste to include module settings. A lot has changed in the meantime, but I feel this still hasn't been implemented. There is still no way to quickly insert modules in existing buildings.

Re: Copy-paste modules (in addition to settings)
The key words for me is - "I would like that to apply to adding modules."
Adding modules is a huge hassle, even after robots, because you can't copy-paste them in similar to other settings.
You have deconstruct the entity first, and then paste in a whole new blueprint of assembler + modules.

Upgrading existing modules, of course, is trivial.

OptimaUPS Mod, pm for info.
make copying setings also copy modules
When i am trying to install modules into machines with bots i need to make a blueprint of the assembler to copy the modules, it would be much nicer if you could just copy the settings with shift+Rclick and shift+Lclick

No, they're two different festures.
Ctrl-C makes ghosts, shift click simply reconfigures the entity instantly.

Re: make copying setings also copy modules
I know i want the configuration its copying to include the modules.

Re: make copying setings also copy modules
would be nice if there's a super paste like we have super force build. Super paste would paste rotation and modules of a building.

I simply use an upgrade plan, just put in the desired module and draw a frame over all mashines and miners where modules are to be exchanged or put in. It's super easy to use and you can order thousands of things to be changed at the same time.

I don't know that it generally copies modules with Shift + left-click, right-click, that can also be annoying. If you should perhaps do shift + Ctrl + left-click, right-click, not on the standard anyway. Or as an option.

when i am trying to add modules to machines i am just applying it to a few machines and so creating an upgrade plan would take extra time.

You screwed' out your "quote" formatting, also factorio has too many key combinations already (but if there's a tooltip in an appropriate place, I don't mind the extra key combinations)FritzHugo3 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 4:35 amOh I have this saved for ever as default in my books, just a b But I understand you, for me the new waiting for delete a Blueprint over the radar map nervs me too - simple things but yes.its a me wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 2:19 am when i am trying to add modules to machines i am just applying it to a few machines and so creating an upgrade plan would take extra time.

Blueprint of same- and better-grade crafting machine with modules don't override selected recipes on crafting machine it's put on top of, no?

[Koub] Merged into an older thread with the same suggestion.
