Space Platform / Fluid Mixing

Space Platform / Fluid Mixing
Since there is no player, the space platform relies exclusively on ghost building to place structures. However, ghost buildings don't execute fluid mixing checks when pipes are placed. This makes it frustrating to build things like multi-engine ships due to the potential for accidental fluid mixing. Is it possible to execute fluid mixing checks on ghost placement when in a space platform?
Re: [2.0.14] Space Platform / Fluid Mixing
Any thoughts on if this is intended behavior? IMO, pipe ghosts not checking fluid mixture has been useful as a feature. But I think it is an unintended side-effect that the space platform can never have checks.
This causes a frustrating experience, especially for novice players who do not know how to dump fluids in the network. I observed someone try 5 times to build multiple boosters, which kept mixing. A novice player will try to rectify it by tearing down the entire fluid network because it is tainted.

This behavior is leading to other similar bug reports like this: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=117703 (not actually a bug, just that the ghost placement allowed the building's internal buffer to get another fluid).

Looks like this was moved by a moderator to "Ideas & Suggestions". Anyone else impacted by this?
