Progress bar should not make log bounce

TL;DR
When deconstructing the progress bar moves the log text very fast. Ow.
What?
Progress bar shifts log text up. removing it shifts text down. fast bars cause log text to "bounce" up and down. Please stop it.
Why?
It's painful when picking up flooring by hand, and one shouldn't affect the other, anyhow. Text should be on top of the bar, if the two overlap.

Attached gif is playing at 1/4-1/10 speed. it is much more jittery IRL.
