Suggestion: change the selection method for "snap to grid"

Post by Rau »

TL;DR
Use ternary switch (from the splitter) on "snap to grid"
What?
The suggestion is to get rid of the separate checkbox “snap to grid” and combobox “relative//absolute”, replacing it with the ternary switch so you can activate snap and select the desired type with just one click.

Why?
The process of using "snap to grid" always seemed a little confusing to me – you first need to click on the “snap go grid” checkbox, and then select the snap method. It so happens that I personally need "relative" much more often, but by default "absolute" is always selected and. This is an additional click (a small problem) and an additional waste of time if the blueprint is created with wrong snap type (especially when a temporary blueprint is used).

I have been thinking that I wanted Relative to be the default instead, but this is a better solution. I absolutely agree +1
