It's not possible to rename a saved game from within Factorio's main menus.
There's only two ways I know of. The easiest method is to re-open the save and save it again under a new name, but this assumes you have the right mods loaded and it also changes the version the save was saved with if it was originally saved on an older release, plus the user is left with the old save that they then have to delete. The other option is to go to the save game directory (on Windows, that's %AppData%\Factorio\saves), then rename the zip file and the files/directories inside, using a tool like 7zip. There's probably other tools made for doing this, I've only been playing on Factorio for a few months.
This feels like it's an oversight in available features and less of a bug. I just want to be able to organize my saved game list, man.

Copy/rename worlds from load game screen
Currently you have to open the world folder or load game to copy/rename saves.
I think it would be convenient if you could rename them by clicking the title, slowly double-clicking the name from the list or pressing F2 (file explorer does both the latter).
A copy button would also be nice to streamline backups from the main menu.
