TL;DR
I think the changelog button should have a tooltip when it's disabled, to show the reason of it being disabled. What ?
My idea would be that the changelog button on the mod manager's updates tab should have a tooltip when the button is disabled (greyed out).It should show the reason for being disabled, like because the mod does not have a changelog, or that it's changelog is incorrectly formatted.
This is how it looks now: And this is what I came up with..
..when there's no changelog: ..when the changelog is incorrectly formatted:
Why ?
It's not straightforward why the player can't view the changelog. It can be understood if it's because there is no changelog for the selected mod after you go to the mod portal, because you can see if there is a changelog tab or not, but it will be puzzling for when there is one, and people may think this is a bug, and so they will report it.Also, if players know that the mod's changelog is incorrectly formatted, they can report it to the mod developer, so they can fix it.
