The game needed this a long time ago. I keep finding this to be a real pain.
When loading a game. The game should also load all Mod Dependencies when you pick that game. The option to Toggle them on/off as needed. We should have a option in the load screen.
Having to go back to see what mods I need to load is just a huge waist of time. Some times I have more then 75+ Mods loading. 75 Mods that not all need to load on each game I play. I have to stop and go back to toggle them on & off..
Also when installing a New Mod the dependencies should come up in a Auto list that we can just check to install so we get whats needed for that Mod. Other wise its a lot of searching and wasted time looking for Mod dependencies.
Last one.
When Installing Mods there has been a problem with installing Mods without a version in the install list, but find that its a dependencies to other Mods. If there is a way that we can download without versions and forgo that error or action of unable to install.

Re: Auto Load Mods /Auto install dependencies
Nope, at least auto-install of dependencies are still a no show even for 0.16
Re: Auto Load Mods /Auto install dependencies
where is this lost little feature !?
Re: Auto Load Mods /Auto install dependencies
you can sync mods with your save, but it wont install new mods.
but it would also be nice for modded servers

Re: Auto Load Mods /Auto install dependencies
It seems strange that this is not supported (yet). I wonder why.

Re: Auto Load Mods /Auto install dependencies
Still not supported. I knew, but was "brutally" reminded by a mod upgrade that caused a loaded map to lose all modded items (which, since I use said item in my power plant design, meant NO POWER).
EDIT: To make this "worse", the mod interface in 0.17 has buttons beside the mod dependencies, but does nothing if you click them… even though the name shown there is the *internal* name, while the name in the install dialogue is the… "readable"? name.
