I've been playing Factorio for a while on singleplayer and on multiplayer servers (as host) and one thing that bothers me is autosaves.
There are max 3 auto-saves regardles of amount of your maps , so my sugesstion is to make 3 autosaves per map so it would remove possibility of having save for map in very hard spot (during bitter attack)

I would say it so:
The behavior of autosave should be configurable per map and at any time on that map:
- Possibility to change the interval length
- Possibility to change number of saves (1 to endless) that are created
- Possibility to change prefix/the suffix of filename (a fixed part like "MyWorld" and a flexible part like "2017-06-22" and "001")
- Setting type of expiration: round-robbin like now, logarithic (after 10 autosaves of that world, it will delete the ten before but keep one left - and so on) or continously growing
