TL;DR: Provide in-game benefits (not just bragging rights) for the in-game achievements. (Example: Solaris achievement improves solar panel power production.)
So far I've gotten over half the achievements.
This has taken me a couple of playthroughs and dozens of hours.
I was thinking it would be nice to have some in-game benefit (not just bragging rights) for getting the achievements.
Here are some ideas:
- Worker robot achievements improve worker robots or roboports.
- Lazy Bastard improves crafting queue speed.
- Solaris improves solar panel power production
- Raining Bullets improves gun turret speed and/or damage.
- Speedrun achievements improve crafting speed, running speed, research speed, or assembler speed.
- Production achivements improve assembler speed or efficiency
- Tech maniac: improve research speed or start the game with certain technologies already researched.
- Pyromaniac: make flamethrower and flamethrower turret more powerful or more efficient.
- Golem: increase armor and/or shield effectiveness
- So long and thanks for all the fish: more fish are spawned, or increase health benefit when consuming fish.
- Minions: increase max number of combat robot followers, or health/speed/damage of combat robots.
If this suggestion is implemented it will make the speedrun achievements easier, so that becomes a balancing issue.

Re: In-game benefits for achievements
Sorry, but its bad suggestion.
That will cause additional balance issues that are not needed at all.
Speedrun achievment is okay now (its a test of your basic game knowledges and knowledge of basic setups).
