RTS Robot Armies

I just got this idea of being able to mass produce humanoid combat robots in mid/late-game factorio.

Those robots should be able to equi all the weapons and armors the player can craft so there is a reason for mass producing rifles, shotguns etc.

The robots can then be controlled from a throne room which is alredy discussed in the forums.

There is already this direction. The only sad thing is there is not enough content yet for this. There are small biter, biters, and large biters in variety. The only difference are spitters and biters. So robots with all their different weapons would nothing but empty selection. You already may use destroyer bots sorta for same reason, so before this idea would see its realization more different and strategic kinds of biters which capable to act at least in some semblance of good tactical choice there is no meaning in this.

By tactical choice I meen seeking weak spot and getting to juicy contents of factory ant style at least, realizing what units there are at best. Othervice just whatever tools we have is already enough, even tanks are questionable as it seems exosuits is too useful.
