A Continue Button which loads the last save. If the last save is gone for a reason it takes you to the load screen. If there are no saves it takes you to the Play menu.
And while at it I though some sort of grouping would be nicer as well.
When playing for a while the load screen tends to be cluttering with all sorts of saves ... and also only having only 3 global autosaves tends to be disastrous as I had read.
Instead of a mess like in here...
.. better:Why not creating a folder for each new created world? The Folder name could be created automatically with the format Version-Date-sequentialNumber or ask for name.
Within that folder you would obviously put all of your manual saves from play plus your 3 autosaves ... no more overwritten saves when plying a scenario (could have save folder build in /or ask ... would also ask when about overwriting something)
Each folder would show the newest save of its content.
I am sure the workload would be acceptable ... could be done in days at worst ... but the improvement would be vastly.
Oh! And if there is a plan to emphasize multiplayer in future just whip a additional space and a multiplayer button under continue in my menu ... (that button would be redundant to the button in play menu)
One last thing ... Would like to have the option to set / save window size (playing pretty much only in window mode)
Edit: The very last thing ... would be cool when saves als could be sorted by date (last changed)!
