[0.13] Pipe to Circuit Network

Post by saturn7 »

One thing that apparently cannot be connected to the circuit network is the pipe.

Incidentally it was the first thing I tried to connect in 0.13 ;) (for balancing the petroleum between plastic and sulfur).

Would be great if that could be added!

Or the small pump to control the flow.

I know, but it would be nice to read out the content of the pipes directly, without the side effect of tanks and pumps.

When I remember right it was on the list of things Twinsen wanted to implement for the circuit network.
Cool suggestion: Eatable MOUSE-pointers.

Piping Circuit Network

Post by soren82002 »

When working on a circuit network on a server, I noticed that the only way to get a reading on how much liquid we had flowing in pipes was to put down a tank and measure that. Pumps can only be turned on and off, and you can't connect wires to pipes. This doesn't make much sense, because we can connect to transport belts.
