The game should have some more power options.
As I understand it in real life, relatively dull ore is processed to gather the very small percent that is an unstable isotope on which nuclear reactions can (and do) happen.
So I propose an in game mechanism that turns something like 300 stone into 1 uranium ore and then there be a nuclear power plant that runs on the uranium. To be fun, the plant should just heat water like a boiler (so you have to attach steam engines) (very similar to real plants). Also, maybe if it loses access to water it should go critical and explode causing massive pollution and damaging nearby things.

Also, since it doesn't produce electricity itself it should require a little (for the cooling pumps). If it doesn't get that, it should go critical or maybe just do a shutdown and require a few minutes of constant power to turn back on. Turning a nuclear plant on is no joke, I think in real life the connect to the power grid to start up or have diesel generators on site to do it.
Re: Nuclear power plants
More power options should be a core game item IMO. The mods that do this are cool but your gonna let me build a handheld fusion reactor in vanilla to power my suit but my power options for my base are coal and solar?steinio wrote:viewtopic.php?f=64&t=9502

Yes OK.
I don't want that you must wait for this experience.
it looks like that the developers do things with higher priority at first and suggestions which can fulfilled by a mod in the meanwhile have lower priority.
Greetings steinio

This is one of the development proposals.
