Retain what is typed in chat if pressing ~ insteadofdeleting

Hit char limit for subject, excuse it smashed together at the end.

There's been many times I'd be explaining something to someone, and then I'd have to close chat because something important had to be done, like fleeing from a horde of enemies, only to see the manuscript I didn't yet send is now gone.

Instead of clearing what is typed there every time you press ~, hiding it would nice.
