Place regular signal before train station.
Signal stays green instead of red.

Removing and replacing train causes signal to change to red.

****Addendum - cursor position is important when placing the train, if the cursor is at the rear of the loco, (prior to signal), the signal stays green. If the cursor is at the front of the loco, the signal changes to red.
I think this is the actual cause of the bug.
Expected behaviour:
Signal should be red on placement, and should account for the entire loco, regardless of cursor position when placed.

Hello, this is actually not a bug. The train snapping is exactly on the edge of the two rails so it requires just a very little change to make it green or red (on the new block or not).
The position of clicking slightly affects the position slightly so it ends up on one or another side.
