Create a looping belt, and insert items onto it from a chest - when the belt lane becomes full, the items stop moving.

Thanks for the report however this isn't going to be changed. When a belt runs int a circle none of the items can move because the items in front of each one is in the way.

Interesting. Sushi belt setups aren't all that common, but this could make them a bit trickier to get stable.
