Underground Belts: Belt into Ground does have a shadow and it's shown above the cap while it should be blocked behind the cap
----
Power Lines: should not be straight as-is, because all power lines are sagging. Even if they are shown as straight line for the player above, light comes from an angle and the shadow should hang trough on the ground

Yes! The shadows should be reversed!burninghey wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2019 5:38 am Power Lines: should not be straight as-is, because all power lines are sagging. Even if they are shown as straight line for the player above, light comes from an angle and the shadow should hang trough on the ground

Given the shadows of the poles themselves fall due East...The North/South aligned shadows should show the sag, and the East/West should fall more or less straight.

Thanks for the report.
Belt shadows are not rendered in shadow layer, because belts themselves are under shadow layer, but now they are above ground so they cast some shadow of their own ... ... I meant to say, it's ambient occlusion obviously ... ehm
Wire shadows are not correct, but here they are more or less fine (as opposed to here: 67351)
We won't fix neither of these.
