The first post appears to have been posted at 12:00pm, EST.

Spammers have been visiting this board a lot lately. There must(hopefully) be something that can be done to prevent something like this from happening.

No need to bring attention to it publicly. Just report the posts and ssilk will deal with them when he has time.

Since the forum is visited by spider bots, spammers have a good reason to spam. I deleted this weekend over 200 posts. It is definitely a bad situation.

As Fish mentioned: just report some (! Not every post, 1 is enough) spam of one user.

I disagree. This thread is a good idea.

RSS readers are usually built NOT to forget items that disappear.
That's a good thing, because the factorio RSS feeds can provide only limited amount of items.

Unfortunately it also means that
a) I have to go through those posts too, it's not just the ssilk/moderators.
b) I may not be notified of legitimate threads because the "slots" in the rss feed were taken by spam threads.
