Why don't you just change the password to something random and don't write it down, and just ignore that your account exists?

I'm surprised to read that because this should be a MANDATORY option in any place you subscribe !
And there is no option to change the registrated email account!
My email address is always linked with this account, i would like this problem be solved.

Edit:

A "deletion" makes no sense, cause that would include to delete your posts. Well, maybe possible with your posts, but in general that is in my eyes only the last option, cause think about what would happen, when for example me would like to do so: about 1/50 of the forum posts suddenly wouldn't make sense anymore.

So all what technically makes sense is this:
- change your account to an "invalid" email-adress.
- give you another username like "deletedGuyNumber01"
- ban you from the site/give you an 100 chars long password, that nobody knows, cause I put my cat on the keyboard.
