If I search for "no sound" it returns all with "sound" this is not usefull.
So I can not find known issues.
Maybe there is a query syntax to support this. but i could not found the exact syntax.
The common syntax "double quotes" did not work.
[Forum] Search returns too much results
Re: [Forum] Search returns too much results
That is not a bug.
Re: [Forum] Search returns too much results
The smallest word the forum accepts is 3 letters. And indeed, there is unfortunately no advanced search syntax as "between quotes", or -unwanted or stuff.

Re: [Forum] Search returns too much results
"-" should work.
There are 10 types of people: those who get this joke and those who don't.
Re: [Forum] Search returns too much results
One of my first posts on these forums came from a search that returned no results. It still makes me chuckle: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=62504&hilit=train
My own personal Factorio super-power - running out of power.
Re: [Forum] Search returns too much results
No unfortunately not. "no-sound" returns 252 pages with articles containing "sound". This is not helpful."-" should work.
phpbb seems to be not the best choice in this case.
...some time later...
For others having the same prob. google does its job
"no sound" site:https://forums.factorio.com/
returns 86 results containing "no sound"

Re: [Forum] Search returns too much results
Never tried that before, but using this search string (with just one "https://"!) with duckduckgo also works. No need to google everything.Kuxynator wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 7:56 amFor others having the same prob. google does its job

A good mod deserves a good changelog. Here's a tutorial (WIP) about Factorio's way too strict changelog syntax!
Re: [Forum] Search returns too much results
Yes of course only one https And other search engines also work. Google is default on chrome so this was the first approach(with just one "https://"!) with duckduckgo also works. No need to google everything.
Re: [Forum] Search returns too much results
So using google search is the only way to search for a string that might contain special characters like the '-' or '_'.
such as:
site:forums.factorio.com "create-blueprint-item"
This worked for me. I am too lazy to type the other characters.
