for anyone interested, this was a default index issue - rather than pointing your browser to index.php the web server tried to serve, but failed, / which resulted in the permission error you encountered - going straight to index.php still worked - this been fixed now, thank you again =)

hi im unable to connect with the server. on ip:play.factorio.nu as listed in the first post. the posts are open for factorio.

i get a could not establish communication with the server error message.

not sure sorry, I've jsut rebooted it to see if that resolved - will have limited time to sort it the coming few days sadly

sure, the server is public - just read up on the first post and connect =)

disabled the peer-to-peer option, apparently forwarding ports is not standard procedure in all consumer grade routers -_-
