Searching For People To Play With To Help Me Learn The Game

Hi there, I think the title of this post kind of says it all, but in case it isn't clear, I'm looking for someone (or some people) who I can play with in order to help me learn/understand the game a bit more. I'm not a complete beginner, I have had the game for a while, I'm just really bad at it, haha. Basically, I'm hoping that by playing with someone who knows what they're doing, I'll be able to become better at the game.

Full disclosure, I've never actually finished the game (i.e. launched the rocket).

Connect to some public servers to get some ideas on how to do things. I learned a lot in the beginning by hopping into big public servers and just checking them out. If you can get on one when it is freshly reset, even better.
Alternatively you can set up your own server and open it up to let people get on and play with you.

There is also lots of tutorial type let's plays on YouTube, where they explain a lot of the basics of the game.
