Hello, today this server was attacked by troll/griefer and we had to spend quite a while killing him at spawn. Would it be possible to make this easier on us somehow? maybe whitelist where every1 who would want to join would have to introduce themselves on forum? or at least allowing pvp so its not that hard killing him?

Well, yes. I do not prefer whitelists. But I'll work out a Team solution which works without clientside-modding (because I do not like mods on a public server if every player has to keep his mods in sync with the server). I'l give more feedback on this asap.

Depends. I cannot merge everything build to this day into someones new team. If you want to avoid griefers and establish a team you have to start a new factory.

I added a new instance of factorio with a new IP (see the OP). I added some kind of grief prevention there. The old IP (40.118.99.103:34198) is still online unless I see no more activity.

This was the only EU vanilla server, and a nice one: perfect rules, no lag, dedicated, nice people inside.

It would be nice to have it back. If you need help maintaining it, please PM me: I am an expert network administrator.
