Electronic Circuit Boards. An Example Flow.

Post by AnodeCathode »

Thought I'd throw up a lightly annotated picture of my Electronic Circuit Board production line for an example of factory flow with Bob's Electronics Override. Note that this is not done in an idealized environment so some of the layout is due to physical layout constraints and location of resources. It does give an idea what's required to put together one of the harder assembly flows without logistic bots.

It makes the most sense if you examine the image from the bottom up, as it flows that way. Final assembly is at the top.

Bob's mods adds 4:
Basic circuit board
Electronic circuit board
Electronic logic board
Electronic Processing board
you have the fist 2 but the fun is with the last 2 and the Basic circuit board is a wood hag .

The basic circuit boards are there already. They may chew through wood but their complexity didn't really deserve an example flow. As for the logic board, once you have the circuit boards, the logic board is a cakewalk. Only the superior circuit board requires some effort.

In any case, was just wanting to put up an example of how it might be done for those who were asking. I found it rather complex at first glance. Wasn't until I'd sketched out the resource requirements and timing that I got a sense of it.

I do play with TreeFarm so that wood isn't quite the nasty issue it can be. Given the limited oil supplies I have, the synthetic wood wouldn't have got me very far.

Where does the synthetic wood work? I tried it as a replacement in the circuit recipe but it wouldn't accept it. Is there something I'm missing?

in the latest version of MCI there are 2 versions of the wooden board and phenolic board recipe, one that uses wood, and one that uses synthetic wood.

Ah got it. I've also modified Landfill to allow the same. Submitted a PR to the maintainer for that. Would like to get away from Treefarm as it's just way OP for my liking.
