Hello, is there any need for the artifacts? cant find any recipe for that

Enemies mod:
Optionally adds alien artifacts, and coloured versions.

Tech mod:
If artifacts are detected, Adds an Alien lab, and the research packs that go into it made from the artifacts.

MCI:
If alien artifacts are detected, new resources such as Blue/Orange alien alloy, Alien poison, Alien Acid etc are added which are produced from said artifacts.

Warfare mod (And Vehicle equipment grid) If you have the lab, certain researches will change to require alien science instead of regular science, this includes most of the new ammos, and certain high end equipment grid items. The recipes from of the mentioned items will also be modified to include the related alien artifacts, or resources.


An example: Flame bullets. Cost Alien Fire fluid which is made from red artifacts. Research costs Red alien science packs.

Looks good. Why did you decide to shut it off (standart options)? Because of complexity?

Because it was an addition to base game stuff, the standard (Pink artifact) dropped by alien bases.

when the original was removed from the game with 0.15 release, the need for it and the additions was not needed so much. It was agreed on the forums at the time that the default option should probably be off to match the new base game direction.

I added it back in of course so that the existing infrastructure I created still existed, but disabled it by default.
