0.14.x can't create synthetic wood

Good Day,

I have an issue with to create synthetic wood. To do so you need a heavy oil from oil rafinery that i don't have because I need Synthetic wood. But to get it I need oil rafinery. So, my question is how can I build an oil rafinery with regular wood.

You build it by hand using normal wood.
Or in machine - also with normal wood.

I think you have discovered existing in game bug that makes recipes prefer synthetic wood over normal wood for handcrafting and thus it breaks it.
If you craft some wooden boards by hand first you'll be able to craft further.

There are 2 recipes to create wooden boards, one from wood, and one from synthetic wood.
Synthetic wood is unlocked when you research plastics.

for some reason, when you unlock synthetic wood, all recipes in the game that have 2 options (one for wood, one for synthetic wood) the new synthetic recipe is preferred when hand crafting, even though a second recipe exists for normal wood.

Unfortunately, if the preferred recipe ingredients do not exist, the game just tells you it can't be made, rather than using the other recipe.

As mentioned by Orzelek, if you manually craft the wooden boards made from wood then it works fine, rather than trying to produce the final product directly and relying on it to make everything for you.
