I have been playing Factorio since the first releases.
I always found this game, it developer and its community engaging.
After the "final" release, its like that the game died for me... Did this happen to you too?
I think it is important to realize that what makes a great game is the people developing it, playing it, loving it and their engagement.
Keep us involved!!!

Re: I dont like the radio silence from the Dev team
Check the bug reports forum, the devs are very much alive and working.
It is tricky to talk about new features when building a game or expansion pack. Not all proposed features will make it into the final game, so people will be disappointed if you reveal them too soon.

The silence must have been a result of the type of work going on. Looking at FFF-356 it appears that the game is being re-written more than having new interesting features to present.
