For whatever reason this makes me picture "deconstruction fishing" with bots dropping explosives on dark shadows in the water (much like the new cliff deconstruction mechanic with cliff explosives), followed by the five fish floating to the water's surface and waiting to be collected. I suppose it does go well with Factorio's environmental aesthetic.

Really wish I had the chops to make a mod.

How on earth did you wind up with 10000 fish!!?????? Unless you've got a mod to auto-harvest them, you have to collect them manually (by hand or deconstruction order) AFAIK.

I dunno but I didn't try to gather them. If I DID try I'd be up to my eyeballs I fear!

Someday they will add something significant that consumes fish. When that day comes I'll be ready with lots and lots and lots of fish!
