Mining Drill Operator pre-order pack.

Hello there!

I am new to factorio but loved the demo and wanted to buy the game. I am willing to support the game but the price seems a bit high in compare to the base game.
My question is about the Mining Drill Operator pack and it is:

How many people have bought this pack. What are the odds my name will show up when building a lab or station?
I hope a mod or dev can give me a approximate number.

The bakers are in ...\factorio\data\core\bakers.json

is there anything in the file that states which one it is I mean you can get a lab or station named after you not both right?

I dont have the game YET i first wanted to know some details.

The file is only a list of the names. So you can get your own name

Or you edit it, so that you only have your name in it and you get every lab and station named after you. But I think it will be overwritten by every update

I think it will randomly choose from the list. In the list there ist no indicator wich name is for lab or station, so it can be both.
And I dont know if there is a check for double names (2 labs / 2 stations / 1 lab and 1 station). but I think, if you get past the (above mentioned 900) labs and stations together ou get double names

uhm.. are you saying you can just edit the file? because if so, you can just add my own name without even supporting the game.

You cannot update the game automatically. You need to reverse the change or update all.

yeah, I think so, but this is only for you and your name doesnt show up in games of other players.

And you also have the possibility to change the names (for stations) in the game regulary. I rename my stations after the purpose of them

The Drill operator tier is to help the devs even more and have your name possibly in every game all over the world.

well in the FAQ it states i can upgrade my tier so i ll just go for the 12,50 euro one for now. If i really love the game i can always give more support

Yeah, this is possible (and I was about to edit it into my last post

).

If I ever get some money wich I can spend I will update to this tier. I would really like my name in all games on the world
