The Water!

I am wondering, and it might of been answered long before this thread if it is i am sorry :P, Anyway like i said i am wondering are there any planned updates for the big blue sea?
I see we are looking at tanks now, but i think a boat of some sort would add much much more to the game.. maybe all those people with island factories can revisit those factories and end their isolation hehe.

It's amazing how often boats/bridges/etc get suggested, yet as far as I'm aware there's been no official word on it. So they're either going to implement it further down the line, or they have other plans for the water.

We don't have boats/bridges/etc yet because water is a ultimate barrier for bitters. When we get swimming bitters, flying bitters, worms moving underground etc. we also get ability to cross over water.

Sounds Reasonable, was just curious because water seems to be the only barrier left for players in the game.

If I remember correctly... They know that is has been suggested, they thought about it, but at the moment they got the roadmap to work on and other "main things" that need to be implemented, like multiplayer. So it seems they will look to the idea a bit later. But it's nothing more than a thought, so don't expect it on the roadmap soon. ;)

Maybe water in lakes should have capacity that renews over time? Instead of unlimited water supply?

I like the ideas of bridges and think underground tunnels would be good too.

for example: if the underground conveyourbelts could go under at least shallow water that would greatly increase the usefulness of that item and make water less annoying.

Underground belts can go under anything as long as they can reach the other side.
