How many alien artifacts do YOU have?

Made a trip out to -2500 y for the rocket defense technology and found out what the stack size of alien artifacts was...Decided I should find out how much other people have managed to get in a single run



P.S. I used a mod which gives me a sniper with 2.5x the range of the rocket launcher (even if damage is only 1/2)...so it was more a matter of ammo than skill lol went through about 3000 shots there and back.

u cant get that masive amount without mods

yeah you can... need to carry some fish and LOTS and LOTS of ammo, maybe a few turrets but otherwise it's just enough coal (if you use a car) to reach the more 'populated' area of the map (free play with infinite range just starts spawning more and more spawners)

If you don't believe me I challenge you to go out and try it
if you have logistic robots you 'might' be able to get by with a requester chest to resupply you, though it would take some waiting for the robots to reach you...

BTW the only thing modded is the sniper so i don't take damage taking out the turrets. I did not increase the drop rate of the alien science packs, nor do I have creepers dropping them when they die

yes, the further areas of the map have creeper villages and creeper towns.
And they have a turret on each corner.. They sure live in a dictatorship.

ah.. risk-free obtaining of artifacts? that puts you into a different league.

Yeah but it got a bit repetitive gathering 1000+ artifacts... at least now i can cut out the ..eat fish..craft new armor.. part of the cycle and without having to string 2500 blocks worth of power poles to use laser turrets (with the same effect of no damage). I have 320 solar panels and 51 steam engines...so it's not like I don't have enough power. But then I've been playing for over 24 hrs, wow you can get a lot done in one day

If there was a setforce lua command or something I'd probably have made a way to simply take control of the creepers and then make them fight each other








P.S. you may notice my FPS is about 22, that dropped fairly recently and I have no idea why, except for (maybe?) the fact that the save is 71.4 mb...and it's saving that every 2 minutes...awesome that 7zip can get it down to about 15.4 though
