What is comming in next version and should I wate for it?

I did not played the game for some time, and want to start again (last was 0.8 something version). But I read here and there that there will be a new version soon, so should I wait for it, or just start playing again if there is nothing big coming in it.

In terms of "is it worth it to start playing today", I think so, because you might want to get used to the oil industry and my guess is that most new content will be mid to end game. However, I'm not sure if the map generator update will be fully compatible.

Its not about "is it worth it to start playing today", its more about "is it worth it to wait and start playing tomorrow/when the new version is released". I guess it will not be save compatible, but does it bring something big? Any info about what will come?

We always provide save compatibility.

But don't forget, that it will be experimental release, it means, that bugs are expected.

Ok, from that it looks like nothing big from content point of view is coming, so will probably not miss anything big if i start now.
