Hi, I am planning to find the "perfect" science setup.
blabla
So here is the result (Number of assemblies needed for each item to saturate 3/3/6):
4x Advanced circuits
3x Batteries
1x Filter inserter
1x Fast inserter
1x Inserter
1x Transport belts
3x Electronic circuits
1x Iron gears
5x Copper cables

And why not make a little contest out of it. Maybe you have nice ideas how to build that elegant, cheap whatever. This setup works great with 11,5 research centers. :D

The mathematically perfect ratios are 5/6/12 for Science pack 1/2/3s respectively, the rest can be calculated from that knowledge and choice of assembly machine to make the science packs (assem2 or assem3, since blue needs assem2). I'm pretty sure a search of these boards could dig up some very elegant 5/6/12 science setups.

As long as there will not be the patch for endless research, the research is fast enough with 3/3/6. Even with this I have research breaks where I am just building and not caring about the tech tree.
But thanks for the link. I thought of programming something similar.
Today I will work on some design myself, hopefully there will come some design from the community. :D

Ok, fellas. Here is my first to get a rough setting. Pls ignore the inserter, this is just an approach. I am not sure, if this is tidy or a mess :D
